What's included in the activity?
Ronda, Spain. This activity starts at Entrelenguas
If you want to get to know Ronda, Spain and its picturesque surroundings during your stay in our city, we encourage you to make the most of the opportunity here and visit an authentic olive estate to take part in an olive oil tasting in Ronda. We organise the olive farm tours in Spain right in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema, using our slow travel philosophy to open local doors for an exclusive look at what goes on behind the scenes. Go beyond your usual list of things to do in Ronda and join us for this unforgettable experience. In this case you won’t just be another visitor in a tourist trap, but rather a friend!
From Ronda, we’ll set off in the morning in private transport towards Zahara de la Sierra, in the foothills of Sierra del Jaral and to the banks of the reservoir which gives the town its name. From there, we’ll start with a visit to a traditional Spanish olive oil mill, where you’ll be able to learn more about the production process, pressing and filtration of the olive oil, all in the company of our official guide.
Furthermore, David and Maria will welcome you to their estate, where you can walk through the olive grove, during which you will learn about the different types of olives that are grown in the region and the permaculture on which they base their ecological development of the very olives they produce.

And of course, the trip wouldn’t be complete without tasting the local product! You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of the locals’ labour along with other local products.
After having your fill with these starters to get you in the mood for food, at the end of your visit you’ll enjoy a homemade lunch under the sun with views of the natural park, weather permitting of course. The food served is all made locally with fresh ingredients from the surrounding region and wherever possible from the estate itself. In that way we can share both the best produce with you, and our enthusiasm for sustainable tourism in Spain. And as always, we adapt the trip to your needs, so if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies let us know and we’ll change the menu so that you can enjoy the food. To finish off, if you’d like to add to your olive oil grove tour by stopping off at any of the other white villages on the trip or even get to know the city itself better with a Ronda tour, get in contact with us and we’ll personalise the trip. We’re all ears!
