This place offers a range of homemade Spanish tapas, all produced with local ingredients. 2. Bar Allioli
Bordering the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, this quaint restaurant offers a taste of something different. This place is known for its great range of craft beers, artisanal burgers and live music concerts. The specialty burgers are created with an international flare as each one is named after a country, from which the chefs create a burger that epitomises typical food from that country. For example, the ‘English Burger’ consists of a typical beef patty with added bacon, and then lots of cheese is added and even Heinz Baked Beans to really conjure that English flavour.
This internationally focused menu is particularly unique, which only heightens its popularity. It may be best to call ahead to book on +34 606 692 753, to check availability. We also recommend checking the website for opening hours which are slightly irregular.

Another option for an unforgettable meal is La Casa Grande. A little further afield, this hotel boasts a distinctive restaurant transformed from the stables of the original building into a characterful dining hall. Maintaining its stone walls and iconic vaulted ceilings, this is a truly different place to feast in the heart of southern Spain.
The menu is a mixture of traditional and modern, offering a variety of hearty meals whether they be vegetarian or meat dishes, something to please everyone. For an intimate restaurant in a small village the food has been commended for its high quality. And with homemade desserts, really, it’d be rude not to!
